Dulverton Planting Design

Almost a blank canvas with the exception of some Roses (Darcey Bussell) and a couple of evergreen shrubs. This Dulverton garden had been reconfigured to accommodate an extension.

The brief was for some evergreen structure filled with summer colour. The planting palette aims to provide colour from spring to autumn, with Geums, Nepeta, Astrantia, whilst Thalictrum, Verbena bonariensis and Heleniums provide height.

A weeping pear provides height and structure in a far corner whilst Artemisia adds further silvery hues of foliage and grasses provide softness and movement. Euphorbias, Rosemary and Pittosporum Tom Thumb and Elizabeth provide evergreen structure and winter interest.
